To Add New Line Type

Use the following procedure to add a new line type to the current project.
  1. Select Options from either of the following locations:
    • Manage > Options
    • File > Options (Backstage page)
  2. Click the CAD Standards > Line Types tab.
  3. Click Add.
  4. In the ID field, enter a descriptive value for the line type.

    The default name will be LineType1, LineType2 etc.

  5. Click the arrow icon next to the ID field to expand the properties for the line.
  6. Click in the Value field for the Name and select a line type from the drop down list.
  7. Enter a Scale for the line type. This can be typed into the field, or you can use the directional arrows to increase/decrease the default value.
  8. When finished, click Apply to save the changes.
  9. If finished with the Options dialog, click OK to close.
